Name Art - Nixon

Some of you may remember this:

I did this a couple years ago for my friend's little boy.  She did his room the theme of little monster's.  She put this on his bedroom door.  Doesn't he have a cute name?

So, Roscoe has a new brother now, named Nixon.  Mom did Nixon's room in the theme of robots, and asked me to do another fun sign.  Mom was patient, as I started it at the beginning of the summer, then put it aside and didn't touch it again until just recently.  Anyway, here is the final result:

Welcome to this world baby Nixon!

Wedding favors DONE!

Wedding Favors Done!
The wedding reception favors I spoke of last time are done!
These pictures are not very good, as they were taken with my cell phone.
These are wine corks, turned into refrigerator magnets.  The colors are black and white, with burnt orange accents.  These were fun!  Just a lot of little details.

Front View.  Bride and Groom's initials.

Back side view.  Date of actual wedding, and view of magnets on the back

All of them together

A new client and a new project!

I'm excited to share that I have the opportunity to work on another project for a new client!
She is getting married SOON and she has asked me to make her wedding reception favors.
I'm excited.

This particular project is something I've never done before:  Refrigerator magnets out of wine corks, with an elegant little tag that will have their initials and date of the wedding.
I am about to get started, so wish me luck!

(I will of course post pictures of the final outcome when they are completed!)

Have a HAPPY, Creative Day!

Another baby shower!
A fun friend of mine is having her first baby!  I was honored to put on her baby shower.  These are the invitations that I made, along with the shower favors, which are adorable little baby shoes, filled with bags of m&m's.

CLICK ON ME for a closer view!

These baby shoes were fun to make.  I usually like to make everything match, but in this case, the guests had fun choosing their favorite patterns and colors of shoes.
